この度CLEAR GALLERY TOKYOでは、MUG1P による個展を開催いたします。
一枚のポスターなのか、はたまたポスターの群れなのか。定型の壁をある意味越えたかった紙達。どちらと取るかは、是非見てから決めていただけたらと思います。
そしてそれらが形を変え、中には旅に出ていた物達も呼び戻し、日常に深く紛れ込むよう作った品々も楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。
Is it a single poster or a gathering of many?
These pieces of paper have longed, in their quiet way, to transcend the fixed forms of the wall.
Some have changed their shape.
Some were once travellers, now called back home.
Others were crafted to slide into the folds of the everyday, almost unseen.
I invite you to encounter them as you wish and
hope that you'll enjoy discovering them, each in their own disguise.
輝度が廊下を貫いて射し込んでいる。窓ガラスは皆きらめき、黄色の植物が輝いている。早足で歩きながら幸せな気分だった。階段では何段も飛び越し、ﾏｸﾞﾜﾝﾌﾟに呼び止められた。僕はそれを聞いて、われわれが本当に同じ人物について話しているのかどうか、彼に確認してもらった。

Radiance shone through the corridors.
Glass windows glittered in unison and the yellow plants glowed like they were lit from within.
I walked briskly, buoyed by a quiet happiness.
At the stairs, I leapt over several steps at a time, somewhere in between falling and floating - until when the Mugwump called out to me.
I listened to what he said, then asked him to make sure- Were we really talking about the same person?
