〈벽장속의 집 The House Inside the Closet〉은 임선구 작가의 작업을 기반으로, 네 명의 협업자가 ‘집과 인물들’에 관한 이야기를 차곡차곡 쌓아 넣는 트레일러 전시입니다. 출처가 다른 종이 파편들을 모아 벽과 타일, 선반이라는 구조로 드로잉을 확장 시켜온 임선구는 이번 프로젝트에서 네 명의 예술가와 함께 곧 무너질 법한 공간과 휘발되는 여러 인물들의 기억을 벽장이라 상정한 전시장 곳곳에 보관하고, 기록합니다.

ꗜ The House Inside the Closet ꗜ
〈The House Inside the Closet〉 is a trailer exhibition grounded in the work of artist Sungoo Im, in which four collaborators layer together stories about homes and the people connected to them. Im, who has expanded her drawing practice by assembling paper fragments of various origins into structures resembling walls, tiles, and shelves, joins four artists in this project to preserve and record fragile spaces on the verge of disappearing and the fleeting memories of those who once inhabited them. For this exhibition, these remnants are imagined as elements placed throughout the space, as if stored inside a single “closet.”
