《Wanderbound》는 서로 다른 두 공간에서 자리를 맞바꾼 두 여성의 이주와 반복, 그리고 ‘자리 없음’의 감각을 탐구한다. 한 여성은 끝이 보이지 않는 대기실을 떠나 폐허가 된 웨딩홀로 향해 인공의 언덕을 쌓는다. 또 다른 여성은 열두 명이 살아가는 언덕 마을로 넘어가 지하 대기실의 ‘열세 번째 존재’로 남는다. 어딘가에 머물고자하는 그들의 시도는 늘 조금씩 어긋나고, 잠시 놓인 자리도 곧 흩어진다. “계속해서 실패하는 ‘자리 잡기’는 잠시 성공하는 듯 보이지만, 그 순간 다시 ‘사라진다.’ 그러나 ‘끊임없는 행위’ 그 자체가 존재를 증명한다. 이제 우리는 무엇을 사유하고 실천해야 할 것인가.”

Wanderbound traces two figures who have exchanged their places, moving between two unsettled grounds. It explores migration, repetition, and the fragile condition of “having no place.” One leaves an endless waiting room for a ruined wedding hall, building an artificial mound. The other crosses into a hillside settlement of twelve, remaining as the “thirteenth presence” beneath it. Each attempt to settle lands slightly askew. A place momentarily gained loosens again, and the ground shifts once more. “The continuously failing attempt to ‘take a place’ appears, at moments, to have succeeded, yet in that very moment it disappears again. Still, the unceasing act itself affirms existence. What must we now contemplate and practice?”
