알고 계셨나요? 본래 갤러리 SP는 전시장이 아닌 사택이었다는 사실을 말입니다. 지금은 과거의 기능을 상실해 버렸지만, 현재 개미굴처럼 여러 개의 방이 나뉘어진 전시장의 구조를 통해 사라진 주거 공간의 흔적을 짐작해 볼 수가 있습니다.
갤러리 SP는 이와 같은 과거의 흔적을 활용하여 내밀하고 사색적인 전시를 엽니다. 특별히 찰나로 소모되거나 덧없어 보이는 존재를 주목한 세 분의 작가님(이동훈, 이재헌, 한진)을 통해 이번 전시는 무의미를 의미로 호명하는 장소를 마련해 보고자 합니다.
전시는 다음 주 목요일인 8월 22일부터 9월 24일까지, 약 한 달간 진행될 예정입니다. 많은 관심과 방문을 부탁드립니다!

Did you know that? Gallery SP was originally a building that was used as a residence rather than an exhibition hall. Although it has now lost its former function, traces of the disappeared residential space can be found here through the structure divided into several rooms like an ant cave.
Gallery SP uses these traces of the past to open an intimate and contemplative exhibition. In particular, Through art work of three artists (Lee Dong-hoon, Lee Jae-heon, and Han Jin) who paid attention to beings that are consumed in a moment or appear to be fleeting, this exhibition will be prepared as a place where meaningless being called to be meaning.
From next Thursday, August 22nd to September 24th, the exhibition will be held about a month.
