亀戸アートセンターは、ドキドキクラブ、ヌキ本、wu-tang、長谷川有里、四本拓也による「アート5人展」を開催いたします。
誰もが知っていたけれど、気づいてはいなかった日常の些細な‘‘おもしろ‘’を執拗に深掘りし、さまざまなメディアを用いそれを提示しているドキドキクラブ。雑誌のロゴやイラストを表紙から裏表紙まで1冊丸ごとカッターで切りヌキ、再度製本した作品を制作しているヌキ本。石や粘土を使った古典的な彫刻、クッキーやケーキといった食べられる造形物、不用品を使ったコラージュなど、使う素材や手法は多岐にわたり、身近なもので実験的にもの作りを続けているwu-tang。決して本物にはなれない、大切にされるのはほんのいっときだけ。そんな偽物という葬られるもの、忘れ去られるもの、捨てられる定めとしての儚い存在に焦点を当てて制作している長谷川有里。世の中の誰も気に留めないような微細な違和感や、遭遇した場面の裏側を掬い取り、シニカルなユーモアを交え作品に落とし込んでいる四本拓也。

Kameido Art Center is pleased to present "5 Artists Exhibition" by Dokidoki Club, Nukibon, wu-tang, Yuri Hasegawa, and Takuya Yotsumoto.
Dokidoki Club relentlessly digs deep into the trivial ''fun'' in everyday life that everyone knew about but did not notice, and presents it using a variety of media. Nukibon, which creates works by cutting and removing the logos and illustrations of magazines from cover to back cover and re-binding them. wu-tang continues to experiment with a wide variety of materials and techniques, including classic sculptures made of stone and clay, edible object such as cookies and cakes, and collages made of discarded items, all of which are made with familiar materials. Yuri Hasegawa's work focuses on such fakes, which are buried, forgotten, or discarded, and their ephemeral existence. Takuya Yotsumoto captures the subtle sense of discomfort that no one else in the world seems to pay attention to, or the underside of a scene he encounters, and incorporates it into his work with cynical humor.
This "Five Artists" exhibition features artists with outstanding ideas, creativity, and eye for detail, who are carving out their own alternative paths. We hope you will take this opportunity to visit the exhibition.
